This project was so easy I made a 15 second Instagram video about it! It hits the trifecta by also being cheap and gorgeous!
CleverPatch gave me two bags of handmade natural felt balls in a recent order. Those guys are so nice! There are 50 balls in a bag, and they’re about the size of one of the bigger Malteasers in the packet. Mmm… Malteasers.
Refrain from eating the felt balls, they don’t taste as nice as Malteasers, but they do make some really cute billy balls!
Felt balls ($10.89), floristry wire, 1 normal needle, 1 wool needle.
Select your balls in a variety of colours that complement each other.
Insert the smaller needle into the end of one felt ball, then insert the wool needle and twist it around to open the hole.
Twist the wire into the ball until it’s firmly in place.
Once you’ve got all your billy balls made, cut them to size and display in a vase.
