So, I’ve been reading about blogging and talking to bloggers and a lot of people mention how much traffic they get from Pinterest.
It’s where I got to get a lot of ideas, and I diligently post my pictures up when I finish a tutorial, yet I get miniscule traffic from Pinterest. And man, I freaking love Pinterest, I’m on there almost every day, so I felt like I should be getting some love in return.
So I decided to do some research, and I found out I’m totally doing it wrong. So embarrassing! I do work in marketing after all…
I’ve found two sources that are really useful, and I’m going through them now and making updates in the hope that I’ll soon see some Pinterest traffic.
My first steps:
- Reorganise my boards so the content is clearly identified and relevant to Pinners,
- Categorise my boards so they can be easily identified by Pinterest,
- Update the cover photos on my boards.
